TOUSAKA GOTEN
My first Japanese-style building in Java Edition.

OVERVIEW
Built on August 12, 2016, this was the first Japanese-style building I created in Minecraft Java Edition.
It was originally planned as a residence within an original Japanese-style castle, but the castle itself was never completed.
HISTORY
The first building I ever made in Minecraft was the “First Prototype Edo Castle,” which I created in Pocket Edition. A few months later, on August 12, 2016, I began working with Java Edition, and TOUSAKA GOTEN became the first Japanese-style building I created there.
TOUSAKA GOTEN was not originally planned as a standalone building. I created it as a residence within an original Japanese-style castle that I was planning at the time.
In the end, I began work on the Second Prototype Edo Castle instead of continuing with the planned castle, leaving TOUSAKA GOTEN as the only completed part of that original project.
When I later replaced my PC, I had kept a copy of the world data from that time. Thanks to that, I was able to preserve the old world without losing the original data, and the building remains in the state it was in 2016.
As I continued creating Japanese-style architecture, my approach gradually shifted toward recreating real castles, residences, and other historical buildings.
