INTRODUCTION
The name 錦乃 brings together two ideas:錦, a word associated with rich, colorful beauty, like the patterns of brocade, and 乃, which gives the name an elegant, classical character.
I combined the two to create a name that conveys something rich, beautiful, and timeless.

MESSAGE
Welcome. It is a pleasure to have you here.
I first came to be known for my work recreating traditional Japanese landmarks in the globally popular sandbox game,Minecraft, sharing those creations under the name “Nishikino.”
I have loved cities and the energy of busy streets since I was young. My interest in Japanese traditions and architecture grew naturally from that fascination with places and the atmosphere they create. (To be honest, I was not originally someone who was especially interested in traditional Japanese architecture!)
Everything began when I was in middle school and fell in love at first sight with the keep of Edo Castle depicted in the famousEdo-zu Byōbu, a historical folding screen depicting the city of Edo.
In Minecraft, I originally wanted to build a sturdy house that enemies could not destroy in Survival Mode. That idea led me to build a castle keep, which became the starting point of my journey into architecture.
From there, I began recreating real places simply because I wanted to be able to look at the places I loved whenever I wanted. Eventually, I realized that I could also recreate buildings and landscapes that no longer exist.
Today, I explore cities and visit famous landmarks, castles, historic sites, and places connected to the Tokugawa family. I share the things I love in my own way through photography, video, and digital creations.
I originally did all of this simply as a hobby, but as more people began to appreciate my work, I eventually started receiving commissions as well...!
There is a Japanese saying, suki koso mono no jōzu nare, which is often translated as “Love what you do, and you will become good at it.” I have come to understand just how true those words are through my own experience.
When it comes to architecture, my approach is fundamentally about reconstruction. I love creating buildings that go beyond the game itself and look almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
Outside of traditional Japanese architecture, I also enjoy watching gaming creators play a wide variety of Steam games, taking photographs and making videos, watching anime, and traveling and sightseeing without limiting myself to any particular style or destination. I am also interested in learning how to make great coffee, as well as fashion and beauty.
Aside from Minecraft, my favorite games includeUNDERTALE and Deltarune. I also tend to get really into YouTubers and voice actors. (There are a few in particular that I follow closely: a green YouTuber with a clover on his avatar who creates educational content, a YouTuber who lives at a school and periodically causes explosions — literally, and a male voice actor who has played several characters connected to other worlds. I also once considered attending a voice-acting school and was accepted through its audition process.)
Once something catches my interest, I research it thoroughly, experience it for myself, and find my own way to preserve what I discover. Driven by pure curiosity and the strong energy that comes with it, I enjoy the entire process itself.
